    Every 8 minutes ARC responds to disasters, like house fires, by bringing basic essentials to families in crises. We had an opportunity to create a socially driven integrated campaign with a strategic focus on driving donations and awareness through transparency. The campaign centered around the hashtag #givewhatfiretakes and executions that showed the items ARC brings during the recovery efforts. Initially deployed by the ARC national headquarters socially, the campaign was then picked up by over 600 local chapters and took on a life of its own well beyond the social space. Since its inception the hashtag has been shared hundreds of times, by some social heavy hitters, reaching over 3 million people and tens of thousands of dollars have been donated to arc's fire recovery program.
